He is survived by : his wife Phyllis; his son Kurt (Ann); his daughter-in-law Lori; his granddaughters, Brianna Chuba (Andrew), Leah and Megan; his great grandchildren, Macie and Maven; and his brothers, Clarence (Yoshiko) and Ernest (Linda).
