He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Hauan and Margaret Hauan (Sunde); his siblings, Harlin, Merle, Milton, Ray, Dean, Myron, Lela and Alice; and his son-in-law Josh.
He is survived by: his wife Emily DeJong of Mitchell, SD.; his daughters, Susan (Josh) and Carri (Lee); and his grandchildren, Erik, Sarah, Alice and Bennett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
