She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Pennell and Ruby C. Pennell (Parks); her husband Robert "Bob" Earl Thomas; her brother Brian J. Pennell; and her nephew Brent Pennell.
She is survived by: her daughter Joy Kreisel (Randy) of Robbinsdale, MN; her grandchildren, Rachel Kreisel Erickson of Rochester, MN and Joel Kreisel (Shannon) of Hopkins, MN; her great grandchildren, Naomi, Hannah, Miriam Erickson, Asher, Eliza and Juniper Kreisel; her niece Cindy Pennell Gosney (Kelly); and her nephew Jay Pennell (Nina).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Grace Baptist Church (600 SW Maple Ln, Oak Grove, MO 64075). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
