She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Walker and Elsie Walker; her husband Manville "Manny" Bates; and her siblings, Leota Palenik, Jean Quilicy and Nadine Tracy.
She is survived by: her sons, Brad Bates (Cindy) of Rochester, MN, Darrell Bates (Deb) of Winona, MN, Allen Bates (Sheila) of New Meadows, ID and Randy Bates (Shari) of Chatfield, MN; and her sister Mary Casada of Joplin, MO.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
