Carol Vigeland Obituary
We bid farewell to Carol Vigeland (Rochester, Minnesota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 12, 2025 at the age of 87. Carol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Meyer and Mabel Meyer (Christensen); her brother Richard Meyer; and her former husband Ed Schilling. She is survived by: her husband Dean Vigeland; her children, Kari Ann (Schilling), Dessner (Harold), Kathryn Mary (Schilling), Laivell (John) and Erik Dean Vigeland (Michelle); her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Nicholas Carter, Jacob Mallwitz, Karson and Kolby Vigeland; and her siblings-in-law, Arlyn Vigeland (Phyllis), Leo Schilling and Nancy Meyer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (810 3rd Ave SE, Rochester, MN 55904). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In honor of Carol, memorials may be made to the Rochester Ronald McDonald House.
