It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Nierman of Rochester, Minnesota, born in Maquoketa, Iowa, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlotte Cavey and Donald Cavey; her husband Rick Nierman; and her sister Teresa Cavey. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Nierman (Heather), Shawn Nierman of Grand Meadow and Michael Nierman (Jessica) of Rochester, MN.; her siblings, Ed Cavey (Glennys) of Needville, TX, Debra Dinehart (Bob) of Stewartville, MN, Lynda Hain of Rockport, TX, Becky Vlach (Terry) of Rochester, MN and Ron Cavey (Jennifer) of Oregon, OH.; and her pet Jemma.

In memory of Cathy and in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Toys for Tots or Recovery is Happening in Rochester.
