He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. VonWald and Veronica VonWald (Mueller); and his wife Bette Vanhook. He is survived by: his siblings, Mildred, Christian, Grace, Nancy, James, Catherine, Ethyl, Myrna (James Johnson), Fay and Richard; and his children, Charles "Chuckie" Jr., Rita Becker (Rochester), Bill, Lisa Sweeney, Judy and Steve (late Eyota).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home (1105 12th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
