He is survived by: his wife Joyce Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Hrstka (Chatfield), Jan Leary (Rochester), Dale Ahern (Spring Valley) and Theresa Ahern (Chatfield). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
