She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wenzel and Clara Wenzel (Reidmiller); her husband Duane Melvin of Plainview, MN; and her brothers, Leon and Keith.

She is survived by: her son Rev. Msgr; and her sister Karen Meade of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Rochester, MN or Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary, Winona, MN.
