In loving memory of Dale Herbert Michel of Rochester, Minnesota, who departed this world on October 12, 2025 at the age of 92. Dale leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sedalia "Mike" Michel and Mabel Michel (Kaul); his wife Lucille Atkinson; his son Dana; and his siblings, Delbert and Delores.
He is survived by: his children, Dean Michel (Alicia) of Zumbro Falls, Laurie Christopherson (Dan) of Oronoco, Lynne Thompson (Mike) of Rochester and Lisa Michel (Mark Weimer) of Rochester; his daughter-in-law Kaye Michel; and his grandchildren, Sumer (Dustin), Cody (Katie), Brett (Kaitlin), Austen, Alex, Dominic, Ben and Madeline. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (222 6th Ave SW, Rochester, MN 55902).
