David Alan Ahlquist Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 1, 2020 we had to say goodbye to David Alan Ahlquist (Rochester, Minnesota). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Ahlquist; and his sister Julie. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Aaron (Elizabeth), Daniel (Amanda) and Brooke (Bryant Carlson); his grandchildren, Brennan, Donovan, Claire, Theoren, Simon, Foster and Ingrid; and his siblings, Pamela Newman (Joey), Dale (Laura), Calvin (Carol) and Carla Heldt (John). He is also survived by his extended family and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration in honor of David's life for family, friends and colleagues at a later date, after the COVID-19 pandemic has passed.

In lieu of flowers, David's family asks that donations be made in his name to Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness (https: //http://www.friends-bwca.org), which is committed to protecting his beloved Boundary Waters.
