It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David G. Alexander of Rochester, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 96, on September 27, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to David's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration David has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alexander and Ethel Alexander (Roessler); and his son Randy. He is survived by: his wife Alyce A. Ivers "Sweet Alyce"; his children, Nancy Doughty (Dave Strain) of Rochester, Beth Knutson (Rob) of Pillager, MN and Jim Alexander of Rochester; and his daughter-in-law Rene Alexander of Rochester. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home (1105 12th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
If desired, donations to the family will be used to support the Eagle's Cancer Telethon and Homestead Church of Rochester.
