Denise Sandra Nisbit Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Denise Sandra Nisbit (Rochester, Minnesota) is shared. Denise, born on March 15, 1943, passed away on October 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Oredson and Eleanor Oredson; her brother Kent Oredson; and her son Rodney Nisbit. She is survived by: her significant other Willard; and her children, Sherrill Van Guilder (Stephen), Leslee Nisbit, Duane Nisbit, Sandra Baxter (Kenneth) and Suzanne Nisbit. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (869 7th Ave SE, Rochester, MN 55904).
