Donald Hanson Obituary

We announce the death of Donald Hanson of Rochester, Minnesota, who passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 90. Donald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hanson and Mable Hanson (Davidson); his in-laws, Odis and Brownie Wagner; his sisters, Verniece Weyrauch (Wallace) and Patty Hepper (Gene); his brother-in-law Randy Welborn; his granddaughters, Summer Rogers and Cara Unverzagt; his great grandchild Lincoln Hipps; his nephews, Arthur Weyrauch and Thomas Hepper; and his niece Rita Kaye O'Neil.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Wagner; his children, Carla Rogers of Gilbert, AZ, Gina Unverzagt (Joel) of Rochester, MN and Brent Hanson (Kristi) of Williston, ND.; his grandchildren, James Rogers (Corryn), Damaris Rogers (Ian Hipps), Mackenzie Hanson, Grace Unverzagt, Jonah Hanson (Jamie) and Brett Unverzagt (Serena); his great grandchildren, Bethany Rogers, Ellie, Jude, Jordyn Rogers, Everett, Avery Unverzagt and Gunnar Hanson; and his siblings-in-law, Polly Nell, Sonja Welborn and Bill Wagner (Charlene).
