He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Lee and Ida Lee (Odneson); his brother Allen Lee; his sister-in-law Marjorie Lee; and his nephew Tim Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Lee of Lyle, MN; his brother Vernon Lee (Val); his children, Brenda Ingalls (Dave), Nevin Lee (Sherri) and Sandra Jacobson; and his grandchildren, Jessica (Aaron), Matthew (Tracie), Melissa, Erica (Cody), Mitchell, Andrew (Jessica), Anthony, James and Gary. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
