He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Eckholm (Anderson); his wife Nancy Ann Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Betty, Neal Larson and Andy Anderson; his nephews, Jeff Larson and Jerry Larson; his parents-in-law, Floyd and Dorothy Johnson; and his father Roy "Farmer" Eckholm.
He is survived by: his children, Patra Baker (Scott) of Rochester and Paul Eckholm (Renee) of Savage, MN; his grandchildren, Joshua Baker (Jenni) of Rochester, Kjersti Hawkins (Mitchell) of Anthem, AZ, Kaija Eckholm of Savage, MN and Logan Eckholm of Savage, MN; his great grandchildren, Taycie Gagnon of Holiday, FL, Isla Baker of Rochester and Holden Hawkins of Anthem, AZ; and his sister-in-law Reta Anderson of Rochford, IL..
