He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Margaret Pletsch and Henry Pletsch; his wife Esther Koopman; his sister Eileen Fremstad; his children, Jean Pletsch Chrysler of Apple Valley, Judy Kay Brueske of Rochester, Kathy Ann Scheevel of Preston and Kevin; and his siblings, Robert and Marie. He was also cherished by many nieces; nephews; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to St Jude's Hospital and the Poverello Fund at the Mayo Clinic.
