He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nellie Rosencrants and Edward A. Rosencrants; his wife Gloria Leimbek; his daughters, Robin Kleinert (Tom), Gail Cook and Diana Kressin (Keith); his grandchildren, Justin Cook (Heather), Chris Cook, Teddy Cook, Annie Oldenburg (Mike) and Jeff Kleinert (Bryanne); and his great grandchildren, Henry and Malcolm Oldenburg.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Olive Lutheran Church (2830 18th Ave NW, Rochester, MN 55901). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Rochester, MN, or the Disabled American Veterans.
