She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Murphy and Crystal Murphy; her sons, Ethan of Bozeman and Evan of Rochester, Minnesota.; her brother Timothy; and her nephews, Terrence and Alexander Shiota.
She is survived by: her husband Erik Thorpe of Rochester; her daughter Erin Venti (Brendan) of San Diego, California; her grandchildren, Everly and Brooks Venti; her son Randal Renken (Amy) of Eyota, Minnesota; her siblings, Michael Murphy (Jane) of Englewood, Kathleen Shiota (Yoshinobu) of Owings Mills and Jennifer Frankenfield (Fred) of Sterling, Virginia; and her pet Molly.
