It is with sadness that the passing of Everett Wayne DeYoung of Rochester, Minnesota is shared. Everett, born on July 17, 1930, passed away on August 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph DeYoung and Ina DeYoung (Prickett); and his wife Shirley DeYoung. He is survived by: his children, Debra DeYoung (Gary Russell) and Mark DeYoung (Kelly); his grandchildren, Andrea Langenbrunner (Shane), Jillian DeYoung, Lisa Bradley (Ben), Jon DeYoung (Jen), Ryann DeYoung and Marshal DeYoung; and his children, Ian, Jack, Camryn, Coen and Chloe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (204 1st Ave NW, Austin, MN 55912). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Austin American Legion.
