He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Erickson and Blanche Erickson (Erickson); his brothers, Adrian and Gerald; his sister-in-law Helen; and his nephew Isaac Luehrs.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Erickson; his children, Rick Erickson (Cindy) of Morristown, MN, Jackie Hemmer (Rick) of Rochester, MN, Randy Erickson (Michelle) of Lake Elmo, MN and Jodi Luehrs (Darin) of Champlin, MN; and his siblings, Marilyn Nordheim (Kermit) of Decorah, IA and Bob Erickson (Sheri) of Waukon, IA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials are preferred to Scheie Lutheran Church, Mabel, MN.
