He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George DeVinny and Irene DeVinny Sr. (Sjholm); his wife Mary McCarthy; and his children, Tom DeVinny (Kate), Cara Clarey (Jay), Anne Saari (Byron), Molly Bowron (Joe), Andy DeVinny (Brenda) and John DeVinny. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
