Griffith left this world on July 28, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Griffith H. Rees and Verna Rees (Davis); his wife Lois Bennett; and his sister Verna Jean Rees Thomas. He is survived by: his children, David (Shelley), Bill (Carolyn Byrd), Eugene (Anna) and Renee; his daughter-in-law Lisa Calavetta; and his friend Marge Cash of Rochester. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
