He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Sager Thompson and Malcolm Atterbury Thompson; his wife Laketa "Lucky" Thompson; and his brothers, David Wright and Donald Malcolm.
He is survived by: his siblings, Katheryn Alice Farrell, Barbara Evalynne Mesey and Ralph LaRue Thompson (Denise Marie Thompson).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Paws and Claws Humane Society in Rochester, Minnesota - a shelter dedicated to the care and placement of dogs and cats.
