Harriet Nelson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2025, at the age of 92, Harriet Nelson of Rochester, Minnesota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harriet Nelson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Hoverson and Stella Hoverson (Amundson); her husband Robert W. Nelson; and her siblings, Justine VanRyswyk, Gary Hoverson and Dennis Hoverson.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Nelson (Nancy), Doug Nelson (Karen) and Jon Nelson (Kristine); her grandchildren, Jeff (Crystal), Ryan (Nancy), Ben (Marie), Erica and Jennifer (Zac); her great grandchildren, Cole, Josephine, Harriet, William and Maya; and her sister Rita Nelson (Brad). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Bonnerup Funeral & Cremation Services (2210 E Main St, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at the North Round Prairie Cemetery.
The family requests memorials to be designated to the Parkinson's Foundation.
