James R. Hedeen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Hedeen of Rochester, Minnesota, who passed away on December 4, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Hedeen and Joyce Hedeen (Banitt); his brothers, Thomas, John, Daniel and David; his sister-in-law Karla (Tim Ihrke); his niece Heather Ahrens; and his father-in-law Martin Ahrens.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Holly Mudgett (Joe) of Lakeville and Casey Hedeen (Kristi Vosejpka) of Hastings; his grandchildren, Tyler Mudgett, Ryan Mudgett, Emery Hedeen, Cayden Hedeen, Ella Mudgett and Hudson Hedeen; his sisters-in-law, Julie Hedeen of Red Wing, Shirley Hedeen of Vasa and Helen Hedeen of Vasa; his mother-in-law Lorraine Ahrens of Blooming Prairie; his brothers-in-law, Brad Ahrens (Sherry) of Owatonna, Brian Ahrens (Lisa) of Owatonna, Randy Ahrens (Becky) of Owatonna and Marshall Ahrens (Patty) of Owatonna; and his aunt Delila Heydeman of Zumbrota. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be given in Jim's name to the window fund at Vasa Lutheran Church, the Vasa Museum, or to cancer research.
