It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane Frances Hughes of Rochester, Minnesota, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Lanning and Eleanor Lanning (Lev); and her brother Tom Lanning. She is survived by: her husband Harry Hughes of Rochester, MN; her children, Kim Bialka (Bruce) of Hastings, MN and Paul DeLange of Seymour, WI; her stepchildren, Jason Hughes and Sarah Buchanan; her grandchildren, Ellen Bialka, Emily Weinfurter (Brett), Isabel Bialka and Josh DeLange; her sister Ann Dehn (Art); and her sister-in-law Gail Ivers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home (1105 12th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Seasons Hospice House, Rochester, MN or the American Cancer Society.
