He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sarah; his son Ian; his pets, Jewel, Suzy, Penny, Tommy, Lilly and Pearl; his mother Fran Ellsworth; his brothers, Dustin Ellsworth and Aaron Ellsworth; his parents-in-law, Wade Wessels, Sherrie and Gary Fletcher; his father Robert Hayes; and his stepfather Darrell Ellsworth. He was also cherished by several nieces nephews.

In lieu of flowers and support of the family, memorials are preferred to Seasons Hospice in recognition of the exceptional care received by Ryne and the care team.
