It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry A. Olson of Rochester, Minnesota, born in New Richland, Minnesota, who passed away on April 25, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvil Olson and Inga Olson (Ausen); and his sister Delores. He is survived by: his wife Lois Olson; his children, Alan Olson of Minneapolis, MN, Nancy Olson of Eagle, CO and Steven Olson (Angela) of Wahoo, NE; his grandchildren, Rochelle Janning (Luke), Carleigh Olson and Braedenn Olson; his great grandchild Merrick Olson; his siblings, Don Olson (Ruby), Rodger Olson, Russell Olson (Simone), Gilman Olson (Jean), Marilyn Petersen (Bob), Glen Olson and Audry Olson; and his pet Ginger. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Alzheimer's Association, or a charity of the donor's choice.
