John A. Scheid Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Scheid of Rochester, Minnesota, who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Emil Scheid and Elaine Scheid (McDonald); his son Jim; and his sisters, Peggy Saari and Mary Lou Notermann.

He is survived by : his wife Helen Kathryn Scheid; his daughters, Laurie Herzog (Dan), Meg Evans (Jim) and Jane Scheid; his daughter-in-law Sandy Scheid; his siblings, Larry Scheid (Barb) and Debbie Bauernfiend (Del); and his brother-in-law Jack Saari. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Due to COVID19, A Celebration of Life for John will take place this spring.

His friends continued to include him in Sertoma, Quarterbacks Club and golf even as Alzheimer's took its toll on John.
