He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian Hauck and Earl Hauck; and his sister Cheryl Baker. He is survived by: his wife Marcia E. Hauck; his children, Tanya C. Klug (Michael Klug) and Troy A. Hauck (Sarah Geffre); his grandchildren, Clayton, Logan and Magdalena Klug; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Hauck (Debbie Hauck) and Mary Heindel (Mark Heindel). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
