He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Evangeline Pesch (Brown); his siblings, Bernadine Scholl (Pesch), Margaret Braun (Pesch), Mary Elizabeth Schaub (Pesch) and Jack Pesch; his son Dr. Daniel G. Pesch; and his son-in-law Robert P. La Hait.
He is survived by: his wife Mary of Mary's Church; his children, Michael Pesch (Constance Perry) of St. Cloud and Kristi Pesch; and his parents-in-law, Elgin, David Pesch (Valli) of Peoria, Ariz, Elizabeth Mackey (Timothy) of St. Cloud, Therese Smith (Mark) of Marion, Thomas Pesch (Mary) of Sauk Rapids, Andrew Pesch (Beth) of St. Francis, Wisc, Maria Pesch of Smyrna and Amy La Hait of Sudbury, Mass.. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Dorothy Day Hospitality House in Rochester, Minn., or Channel One Regional Food Bank and Food Shelf in Rochester.
