We are sad to announce that, on January 18, 2026, Kathleen Evers of Rochester, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Kathleen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kathleen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leo Welp and Florence Welp of Wabasha, Minnesota.; her husband Walt Evers; and her children, Sandra Ottley (Vincent), Karen Powell, Cindy Olson (Bill), Lorie Spencer (John) and Paul Evers (Janis). She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Kitty prefers memorials to St. Pius X Catholic Church, Channel One, American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
