She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Blume and Elizabeth "Betty" Blume of Herman, MN.; her siblings-in-law, Kenneth and Ione Bacon; her siblings, Mike Blume and Ginny Summer; and her sister-in-law Darlene Blume.
She is survived by: her husband Keith Bacon of Rochester; her children, Matthew Bacon (Sarah) of Lakeville, MN, Jennifer Massey (Peter) of Lakeville, MN and Scott Bacon of Rochester, MN; her grandchildren, Andrew Bacon, Cameron Bacon-Massey, Abigail Bacon, Grayson Massey, Grant Bacon, Elizabeth Massey and Tessa Bacon; her siblings, Joseph Blume (Susan), Walter Blume, Paul Blume (Beth), David Blume of St. Paul, MN and Patricia Knight (Greg) of Ramsey, MN; and her siblings-in-law, Paul Summer, Colleen Blume Welmer and Marcia Highum. She is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews.
Kathy was a longtime advocate for Alzheimer's research and development of a cure.
