He is survived by: his wife Dorla; his children, Tim Burton (Beth) of Rochester and Dawn DeBus (Steve) of Northfield; his grandchildren, Henry and Eloise DeBus; and his siblings, Margaret Walsh of Chatfield and Darrell Burton of Rochester.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home (1105 12th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (500 11th Ave NE, Rochester, MN 55906).
