With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lavon Doris (Lee) Sorenson of Rochester, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helmer Lee and Martha Lee; her husband Duane Sorenson; her siblings, Gloria Keithley, Lloyd Lee, Jerry Lee and Denny Lee; and her siblings' children, Suzie Keithley, Paul Lee and Dennis Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Sorenson (Lucy Poole) of West St, Trudy Jung (Tom) of Chaska and Joni Maxfield (Karl) of Coon Rapids; her brothers, Wayne Lee of Mankato and Roger Lee (Connie) of Northwood; and her sister-in-law Suzy Lee of Albert Lea. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home (1105 12th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
