The family announces the passing of Linda Bowar (Rochester, Minnesota) on September 22, 2026. Linda, born on February 4, 1957 in Pontiac, Michigan, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Rogers and Natalie Rogers (Knight); and her sister Terri Gheen. She is survived by: her husband Ken; her children, Amy Black, Andy Black (Kelli) and Angie Black; her stepsons, Ryan and Aaron Bowar; her sisters, Janet Helland (Bob) and Jeanne Kennedy (Jim); her grandchildren, Dylan, Gracie Black, Deztyne and Jaiden Bowar; and her niece Jamie Kennedy. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the River Park Chapel (1105 12th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the River Park Chapel at the Macken Funeral Home (1105 12th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904).
If you wish to make a donation in her memory, memorials are preferred to either St. Felix Catholic Church in Wabasha, Minnesota, or the Church of the Resurrection in Rochester, Minnesota.
