He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Bacon and Viola Bacon (Bremseth); his son Jeffrey Allen Bacon; and his siblings, Leonard and Wilma Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Louise Myhre; and his sons, Jamie (Krista), Joel (Maran) and Jon (Phyllis). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
