She is survived by: her husband Elmer VanDerHeyden; her children, David (Rebecca), Linda Rud (John) and Scott; and her grandchildren, Adam (Laura), MaryEllen (Bryan), Lance (Danielle), David (Erika), Emily (Stuart), Matthew (Erin) and Madeline (Conrad). She is also survived by 6 Great Grandchildren, extended family; and the many friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Macken Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1105 12th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Macken Funeral Home (1105 12th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904).
