It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Schmitter (Rochester, Minnesota), who passed away on December 25, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrna Hanson and George Hanson; her husband Paul Schmitter; and her siblings, Robert "Buzz" and Kathy.

She is survived by: her family, Mary and Paul; her sons, Steve (Denise), Dave (Linda) and Todd (Elizabeth); her siblings, Marlys and Donald (Jean); and her sister-in-law Sally Hanson.

Memorials can be directed to Alzheimer's Association, Leukemia & Lymphoma society or Calvary E-free Church.
