He is survived by: his children, Krista Strum of Rochester, MN and Jason Hoppe (Laurie) of Canal Fulton, OH; his grandchildren, Katherine Strum, Laure Strum, Aiden Hoppe and Benjamin Hoppe; his brother Allen Hoppe (Hilda) of Charlotte, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Donna and Michael Buse of Houston, TX..
