He is survived by: his wife Fay Dynes; his children, Kelly Christensen (Audrey), Kurt Christensen (Elizabeth), Colleen Reber (Kevin), Corwin Christensen (Dorene), Casey Christensen (Heidi) and Craig Christensen (Jennifer); and his great grandchildren, Hannah (Dillon), Ptacek (Fay), Marcus (Baley), Izak Christensen, Laticia (Bill), Kondrasuk, Delphine, Joshua, Zachary, Viviana, Adelaide, Victoria (Chad), Curry (Jonah), Mitchell Christensen, Landon Christensen, Sam Reber, Molly (Mark), Stang (Mabel), Jack Reber, Marshall Christensen, Chance Christensen, Cecilia Christensen, Henry Christensen, Louis Christensen, Azure Christensen, Sage Christensen and Ivy Christensen.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (218 S 12th St, Osage, IA 50461). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family who will use them for donations to Osage Memorial Hospital Foundation, Mitchell County Conservation, and Howard County Soil and Water Conservation.
