It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monte Bothun (Rochester, Minnesota), who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Bothun. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Carlson (Fred); his stepmother Marilyn Flick; his brothers, Wayne Bothun and Terry Bothun (Dawn); his half-sister Sue Bothun; and his siblings' children, Jessie Bothun, Fox Watson, Meggan Bothun, Joel Bothun, Tom Mandery, Kim Mandrey, Jacob Bothun and Autumn Jahnke. He is also survived by several grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Shriners Children's Hospital; the place where Monte spent a lot of time as a child.
