She was predeceased by: her parents, David and Mary Engler Sr. (Noding); her husband LaVerne Nelson; her son James; her grandsons, Kyle Nelson and Scott Nerhus; her siblings, Lawrence, David Jr., Hilda, Agnes, Florence and Viola; and her sons-in-law, Herb Restorff and James Redding.
She is survived by: her children, Sanjia Restorff of Minnetonka, MN, Connie Redding of McKinney, TX and Jill Lundberg (Tom) of Rochester, MN; and her daughter-in-law Ivah Nelson of Owatonna, MN. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter.
