She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph Nelson and Evelyn Nelson; her in-laws, Ralph and Angie Peterson; her uncle Leon; her aunt Audrey Zimmerman; her brother-in-law Gary Slesinski; and her nieces, Kathy Slesinski and Piper Stockard.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Peterson; her daughters, Stefanie Vette (BJ) of Red Wing and Kristin Bolinske (Chad) of Minneapolis; her brother Rodney Nelson (Sandy) of Northfield; and her grandchildren, Carson, Alinea, Ellie and Miles.
All monetary gifts will be donated to the Parkisnon's Foundation and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
