She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward DeGroot and Evelyn DeGroot (Kothe); and her sister Jill. She is survived by: her children, Adam Ystenes (Amy) of Rochester, MN and Kristi Hart (Clint) of Rochester, MN; her grandchildren, Callum, Harper Ystenes, Isabelle, Catherine and Wyatt Hart; and her siblings, Cindy Goffe (Dennis), Jeff DeGroot (Susan), Jon DeGroot (Donna), Lesley DeGroot (Scott Simon) and Jennifer Shawhan (Bruce). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
