He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul LaPlante and Alice Rose LaPlante (Hawkins); and his brother-in-law Colin O'Neill. He is survived by: his siblings, Michael LaPlante (Christine) of Rochester and Paulita LaPlante; and his nieces and nephews, Carly Haugen (Mitch), Monica LaPlante, Kerry O'Neill (Avery) and Joe LaPlante (Corrine). He is also survived by several grandnephews/nieces.
