We announce the death of Phyllis A. Bacon of Rochester, Minnesota, who passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Mattsfield and Linda Mattsfield; and her husband William of Hutchinson. She is survived by: her sons, Steven Bacon (Michelle) of Byron, MN, Michael Bacon (Michelle) of Rochester, MN and Thomas Bacon (Venita) of Lula, GA; her grandchildren, Brady Bacon, Piper Bacon, Hayden Bacon, Connor Bacon (Chelsea), Emma Bacon and Tessa Bacon Teal (Austin); her great grandchild Atley McClellan Bacon; and her sisters, Marion Doring (Edwin) and Winnifred Johnson (John). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Oakland Cemetery (805 MN-15, Hutchinson, MN 55350).
