He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Cooper and Fern Cooper (Keller); his wife Beverly Rucker; his siblings, Lyall Cooper (Lillian), Wayne Cooper (Margaret), Terry Cooper (Twilly), Venita Ballinger (Gilbert), Evelyn Robinson (Dean), Bernice Rabine (Melvin) and Letty Budahn (Don); his children-in-law, Randy Erickson and Diane Cooper; and his granddaughter Janelle Cooper.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Cooper, Greg Cooper (Darlene), Brian Cooper (Sandy), Debbie Houdek, Diane Erickson and Brenda Patton (Thadd); his grandchildren, Jason Cooper (Ruth), Jeremy Cooper, Eric Cooper (Ann), Sarah Dean (Andrew), Katie Gullicksrud (Tim), Joshua Cooper (Michelle), Connor, Chandler Houdek, Nicole, Kristen Erickson, Jesse (Ashton) and Amanda Patton (Zach); his great grandchildren, Peter, Michael, Liam, Chase, Aria, Elysia, Miles, Jack, Charles, Penny, Zorah, Brady and Emerson; and his great great grandchild True.
