He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Williams and Olaf Williams; his wife Janet Hovelson; his siblings, Melba Erickson and Ervin Williams; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Hovelson (Val) and Jule McCullough.
He is survived by: his children, Joel (Carol) of Rochester, Jay (Jill) of Owatonna and Wendy of St. Paul; his grandchildren, Melissa Richer (Matt), Ryan Williams (Holly), Alec Williams (Kelly), Kayla Choung (Perry) and Christopher Williams; his sister Juanita; and his brothers-in-law, Richard McCullough and Eric Hovelson (Mary). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
